Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals is a solid game, but the community needs to be studied by scientists. I downloaded it expecting superhero fights. Instead I loaded into a lobby where Spider-Man was flirting with Venom, Jeff the Land Shark was getting called "babygirl," and someone was arguing that Doctor Doom is "breedable." I don't even ask questions anymore. Half the players are sweating like it's the grand finals. The other half are in chat acting like this is a dating app with superpowers. The game itself is awesome. The people playing it? Y'all scare me. Every time I open chat I lose a little more faith in humanity... and then I queue for another match. The community should be kept under observation.

The Team-Up abilities make me feel like I'm watching the greatest Marvel crossover ever created... ...right before Jeff the Land Shark swallows my entire team and throws us off the map. 10/10. I hate this game. See you tomorrow.

The worst matchmaking the world has ever seen, well... If you can call that matchmaking. The only thing the community asked for since the game release and they don't fix it, they make it worse every update, you can have a bot match even if you're winning, what the hell is that? Season 9 is amazing, it's a new game with all the team ups, feels great to play every character but is the same .txt over and over again, 9 wins - 10 lose - 15 wins - 14 - lose. It's a damn joke. Until they fix this, more people will leave and just hop on to try the new character, nothing more, it doesn't matter how many cool stuff they add, they need to fix the main problem.

Hours played: too many. Hours enjoyed: 0. Garbage matchmaking. Garbage balance. Garbage teammates. Want to win? Better lock in DPS and 1v6 the enemy team yourself, because filling tank or support is a guaranteed loss. Every match is a one-sided stomp — "evenly matched" is not a concept this game understands. If your life isn't miserable enough, this game has you covered. Titanic didn't make me cry this hard. Bad players? Fine, everyone has off games. But my teammates don't just play badly — they have a full mental breakdown, then rage-quit or AFK mid-match. And the punishment for throwing a game? A 30-minute timeout. That's it. No bans. NetEase basically says "please, throw more." Performance? One big teamfight, abilities everywhere, and my FPS drops below my age — on potato graphics. Pros: Uninstall button works flawlessly Cons: Everything else Do better, NetEase.

I could have spent some time writing something witty and poetic. Instead, I'll keep it short. I love this game. I hate this game. I've spent far too much time and money on this game. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll agree. The team comps are unbalanced. It's meant to be played that way. Sometimes you'll have 2-2-2, other times it'll be pure DPS. Some matches will feel like magic, other games will be pure chaos. Roll with it, find beauty in the madness. Be careful with your wallet.

I have been playing this game for aslong as it's been out. I was excited for Season 9 but honestly after playing a few games today.. What even is the effing point of a strategist anymore? No Strat does any amount of good healing anymore unless you're obviously... JUBILEE!!! The new hero.. Ontop of that, i was playing Rocket and a Thor pounced on me, i went to obviously shoot him and i literally did NOTHING to him because Rivals decided to put a dumb ahh SHIELD REGENERATION on Vanguards and Duelist only... I may aswell go any play Overwatch man... Way to ruin the game.. Ya'll just over powered vanguards/duelist and completely ruined what the game use to be- we didn't need this kind of change. The team up stuff is also stupid... I'm usually the type of person that loves change in games but this change literally blows..
