I tried this game for 5 hours, but it’s simply not for me. Sure, you don't see absolutely everything in that time, but you do see the core game – and the core just doesn't suit me. The gameplay is too repetitive: all you do is run away from the killer or repair generators. On top of that, the community is extremely toxic and not beginner-friendly. Please don't take it personally, it's just a matter of taste. Save your money and time – I'm dropping this game for good.
1. Queue killer. 2. Find survivor. 3. Chase survivor. 4. Chase survivor. 5. Chase survivor. 6. Generators completed: 5. 7. "Entity Displeased." 8. Queue killer again. 10/10, definitely recommend this game if you hate yourself.
You might despise the game with all the might you got, but you will eventually hop back on it regardless like nothing ever happened, ending up in a cycle.
Don't buy this game if you want to play the killers. The devs of this game do not care. Survivors are the majority and you're expected to git gud even when the game is genuinely stacked against you so hard that its basically unplayable without perks to carry you. This isn't a pvp game. Its a disneyland for the survivors to bully you and nothing more. You're expected to give them kindness and let them win and be fair while they can tbag you at the exit gate. And if you complain, they claim killers are the problem. Worst community in a game ever, and I know even daring to make this review and talk about the reality of this game is going to get me yelled at. Even the content creators are forced to stay silent because the devs don't listen to them while they make videos about how stressful this role is. ♥♥♥♥ survivor mains and ♥♥♥♥ behavior
you know when you ignore the balancing issues and constant bugs and toxic community and frustrating gameplay and overly expensive cost and cheaters and dedicated servers and annoying playstyles and killer anxiety and solo queue survivor and boring events and disappointing updates and bad cosmetics and pay 2 win skins and pallet density and gen rushing and gen kicking and 2v8 not being permanent - It's not so bad!
Only commit to this game if you like to sink your time learning new mechanics. The game doesn't demand much of your mechanical skills, but it does have a significant skill floor in strategy and positioning. Learning to loop, catch survivors on loop, etc. takes a little time. Way better with friends, be it on SWF or 2v8 with double killers. A bit of a toxic playerbase, but I've seen worse. Overall, nice game, but maybe not for everyone.

10 years of horror. 10 years of jump scares and close calls. 10 years of brutal sacrifices and thrilling escapes. Trapped forever in a realm of eldritch evil where even death is not an escape, four determined Survivors face a bloodthirsty Killer in a vicious game of nerve and wits.
